U.S. poker players (and those around the world) can rejoice in the knowledge that one of the most exciting online poker tournament series is back courtesy of our friends at Americas Cardroom. The 15th version of the Online Super Series (OSS XV) runs from November 20th to December 15th, and ACR is not slowing down their aggression when it comes to the number of events or the amount of guaranteed prize pools. This edition of the event features $12 Million in Guarantees spread over a staggering 151 events!
All Eyes on Venom
The main attraction of OSS XV is the Venom event, which starts on Nov 27th and features a whopping $6 million guarantee. There will be multiple Day 1 flights of this $2,650 buy-in event, giving you many chances to get in and play for the guaranteed 1 million USD first prize.
Of course, the team at ACR couldn’t just leave you with one seven-figure guarantee event in this series, so they have added two other events, both with $1 million guaranteed prize pools. One has a buy-in of $200+15 while the other is a $500+40, giving players with different bankroll sizes a chance to play for the enormous potential winnings.
Always a great mix
Many sites, when putting together a tournament series like this, tend to focus mainly on more significant buy-in events and NLH as the game of choice. This is primarily to ensure that the industry can see the huge guarantees that are being supported. America’s Cardroom recognizes the value of their entire poker ecosystem, and that is why when you look at the 151 event schedule you can see how diverse it is across the board. Tournaments in the series start as low as $1 to enter, meaning that no one has an excuse to get involved. Also, it seems like every day there is a PLO event scheduled in OSS XV, meaning that specialists in that discipline have many opportunities to take down a championship.

A New Satellite Structure
This winter’s Online Super Series also introduces a brand new way to qualify for the main event with the Cyclone satellites. Built upon ACR’s Blitz Poker model, these satellites give players a chance to earn their seats without having to wait for a full event to finish.
