PokerStars held a high-stakes poker event on Christmas Eve as many people carved turkey. Three top players won huge bankrolls on Christmas Day, including Pedro "gusmaa" Gusma, "HypnosisMass," and Andreas "dasaklos20" Christoforou.
Christoforou Wins the $5,200 Titans Event
The poker pro won $87,002 after beating his opponents in the tournament. Fifty-six entrants made buy-ins and formed a $280,000 prize pool which seven finalists shared. Luck wasn't on Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian's side as he burst the money bubble.

Pablo Silva, drew.derzh and mell131313 followed Martirosian in the seventh, sixth, and fifth positions, respectively. Thomas Muehloecker finished fourth with $32,559.
Dimitar Danchev, a former PCA Main Event winner, finished third with $45,182. His elimination set up heads-up action between TheRealWoG and Christoforou. Even so, Christoforou defeated TheRealWoG, sending him packing in second place with $62,697.
HypnosisMass Beats Jason Wheeler in a Heads-Up Battle to Win $26,959 in the $1,050 NLHE 6-Max Semi-Turbo
Danchev finished second in the $1,050 NLHE 8-Max PKO Kick-Off. Jason "jdjtpoker" Wheeler also finished in the same position in the $1,050 NLHE 6-Max Semi-Turbo.
The event attracted 123 players who formed a $123,000 prize pool and battled it out for its $26,959 first-place prize.

HypnosisMass and Wheeler clashed in a heads-up match. But Wheeler finished second with $20,230, while HypnosisMass won the top prize.
Pedro Gusma Wins the $1,050 NLHE 8-Max PKO Kick-Off Title
The New Year Series 3-H comprises the $1,050 NLHE 8-Max PKO Kick-Off that Pedro "gusmaa" Gusma won. Dimitar "KuuL" Danchev was the third finalist in the $5,200 Titans Event but lost the $1,050 NLHE 8-Max PKO Kick-Off title to Gusma.

Danchev beat skilled players such as A.Wesker999, ShipitFTW911 and Pavels "Rigapols81" Spirins, who reached the final table but failed to win the title. He got in a heads-up duel with Gusma as he strived to win the New Year Series. Unfortunately, Gusma beat him and won the top prize, while Danchev took home $31,685.
