Atlantic City Workers Get $10 Million Bonuses from Hard Rock Casino

Hard Rock International operates Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, initially called Trump Taj Mahal, in New Jersey. It announced on February 21, 2023, Town Hall occasion that it will award over $10 million in bonuses to its staff.

Also, some of its employees got $100.00 as cash and prizes in the latest events. Yet, a few workers won up to $20,000 in prizes and cash for their remarkable performance.

The Unexpected Bonuses Announcement

Hard Rock Casino held several staff meetings this Monday and Tuesday during which it decided the bonuses that it would award. Jim Allen, Hard Rock International's Chairman led these meetings. Also, he made the bonus announcement in public alongside George Goldhoff (Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City's new President) and Hard Rock Atlantic City's partners (Michael Jingoli, Joe Jingoli Jr., and Jack Morris).

The officials and partners thanked the casino's employees after announcing their new bonuses. They appreciated their determination to offer exemplary customer service and help the casino resort excel. The announcement took place during a Town Hall meeting that had over two thousand non-union and union employees.

Hard Rock workers' bonuses are a new tradition since this is the casino's third consecutive year to award them. It has issued $25 million in bonuses so far since 2020. Goldhoff stated that the gaming operator has talented team members who offer clients a superior service since it ventured into Atlantic City's gaming market.

The members uphold its "Love All- Serve All" motto and goal to make a positive impact in the local community. Allen said that the casino's team members' commitment to satisfying guests' needs is unrivaled and it has played a key role in its success. He urged them to continue working to their best level.

Hard Rock Atlantic City Is a Reputable Employer in the Country

The casino announced the new employees' bonuses shortly after Forbes named it as the country's Best Large Employer for the seventh consecutive year. It spent $100 million last year on raising its American workers 'wages. The salary raise affected 95 job groups in Atlantic City.

Better Entertainment

Hard Rock Casino's officials revealed that they want to make some investments and upgrades in the property's entertainment area as it marks its fifth anniversary soon. The renovations will provide players with a better gaming experience and they will cost over $30 million.

The gaming company aims at attracting local and foreign players at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena. Besides, it has outlined shows by Keith Urban, Sting, Pitbull, Janet Jackson, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Anita Baker, and the Zac Brown Band this year.

Some of the performances will occur in a few weeks. The casino made other highlights in the meeting like its dedication to the city, and local community, its international and domestic casinos, restaurants, and hotel portfolio. Moreover, it generated the second-highest gaming revenue in 2022 amongst Atlantic City's nine casinos and ranked third in sports gambling revenue.
