Caesar’s Palace Announces Huge Show For 2020

Caesar’s Palace is famous for landing big-name performers, and that trend will continue in the first few months of 2020. Caesar’s Palace announced on Monday that Van Morrison is scheduled to play at The Colosseum at the end of January and the beginning of February in 2021. The Grammy Award-winner will take the stage at the Colosseum for the first time on Jan. 31, and then have four more shows in February. Van Morrison will take the stage on Feb. 1, 5, 7, and 8. All shows are set to begin at 8:00 pm.

Van Morrison has won a total of six Grammy Awards throughout his legendary career that has also landed him in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. He was also granted knighthood earlier in his career and holds a pair of honorary degrees from outstanding universities. Morrison is huge over in Great Britain and has received the prestigious Brit Award and been handed an Order of the British Empire. The popular rock and roll singer has released 40 studio albums throughout his career, including his most recent album, “The Prophet Speaks.” The most recent album, released in December of 2018, combines his famous rock n roll sound with a collection of jazz and rhythm and blues.

Morrison began a life on the road in music at the age of 13 and made his way up through the ranks by joining various bands all throughout the country. Morrison began his musical journey by playing saxophone or the guitar in the bands for which he joined, but his career took a positive turn in 1964. Morrison formed the iconic and popular group, “Them,” and they would go on to record hits such as “Here Comes the Night,” and “Gloria.”

Even though Van Morrison got his start and his big break in a band, his most famous songs and chart-topping hits have come as a solo artist. Morrison released the song “Brown Eyed Girl” in 1967, and it is still a hit song in 2019. He followed that up by releasing hit songs, “Have I Told You Lately,” and “Moondance,” and they have risen to the top of the charts as well. Morrison will have plenty of hits and famous songs to keep the crowds at Caesar’s Palace entertained.

General public tickets for the five Van Morrison shows are set to go on sale this Friday at 10 am PST. Tickets can be purchased on ticketmaster.com or at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace box office. American Express card members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 am Tuesday and running until Thursday at 10 pm.
