DNegs98 and Benjamin Spragg Win Titles at PokerStars

PokerStars held thrilling poker tournaments last weekend. They included a $5,200 Titans Event and $215 Bounty Builder. DNegs98 and Benjamin Spragg are some of the players who recently cashed at the poker operator.

"DNegs98" Beats Odds to Win the $5,200 Titans Event

DNegs98 made the largest score in PokerStars' history. He topped a 79-entrant field and won $87,387 in a heads-up agreement with Jesper8.

Nine players formed the final table, and each of them eyed the top prize.

Dominik Nitsche left the tournament in the seventh position. Simon "C.Darwin2" Mattson, Dominik "Bounatirou" Nitsche, "uwintakeit", Adrian "Amadi 017" Mateos, Dimitar "KuuL" Danchev and Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi cashed but missed the first-place prize.

"Hendurr" left the table in the third position, prompting DNegs98 to make a deal with "Jesper8" that reduced the pay jumps. DNegs8 beat Jesper8 and earned $87,387, as his opponent took home $79,951.

Benjamin Spragg Is the New $215 Bounty Builder Champion

The $215 Bounty Builder attracted 224 entrants and had a $40,000 guarantee. But the players exceeded it by $4,800.

Some of the renowned players who signed up for the tournament included Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo, Vojta "vojta555cz" Skalak, and Patrick "thebigdog09" Brooks. Unfortunately, none of them secured a seat at the final table.

Chris "ImDaNuts" Oliver was the short stack at the table and he was eliminated in ninth place shortly after the action began. Guntis "poker$luggyD" Aleskins followed Oliver in eighth place as Arsenii "josef_shveik" Karmatckii and "VlgnasPokerV" exited the tournament in seventh and sixth place, respectively.

The remaining five finalists battled it out, each of them striving to be the last player seated at the table. But, "fcb-serv" got busted in fifth place with $1,852, and BrowarFans followed them in fourth position.

Lordof0512 exited the event in third place, setting up a heads-up battle between zepf86 and Spragg. Yet, Spragg's hand dominated, earning him $8,677 as he sent zepf86 packing as a runner-up with $5,326.
