Doyle Brunson and DJ Steve Aoki Are Preparing for the WPT World Championship

Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas will host the World Poker Tour (WPT) in December. The series appears to break previous posters as skilled players like Doyle Brunson, and DJ Steve Aoki will compete.

Aoki is WPT's ambassador and poker godfather. Other WPT personalities, including Lynn Gilmartin, Andrew Neeme, and Brad Owen, will join him on December 1 for Wynn Poker Room's The Premier Meet-Up Game: WPT Poker Icons Experience that will kick off the poker festival.

The WPT World Championship will run from December 1 to December 20, and the $10,400 buy-in WPT World Championship will be its climax. Aoki stated during a press release that he is anticipating the WPT, and he is eager to play cards with its fans and crew. He believes that The Premier Meet-Up Game will be a blast.

Aoki Will Be in the House

Aoki became a WPT team member in January 2022 and has been active since then. He will be a one-table sit & go's host on December 6 for ClubWPT qualifiers who will get seats through the WPT Steve Aoki Playhouse Game.

Still, ClubWPT players can win one of the two $2,000 WPT packages to face Aoki, Neeme, and Owen at Aoki's home. They need to finish among the top two in the November 13 Final.

Aoki's home is his DJ pad. It will adequately be equipped with a foam pit, personalized poker table, and pool. Even so, this is part of what the famous DJ will do in the series.

He will play the $1,100 buy-in Prime Championship's Day 1a on December 8 while aiming for his maiden WPT title. Adam Pliska, WPT CEO, stated that Steve's presence in the WPT Poker Icons Experience will create more excitement in the tournament, thus making it the most entertaining community event in 2022.

Steve is actively involved in many WPT operations for over a year, and he transformed its 20th anniversary. Also, he has greatly improved player interaction.

Brunson Will Arrive Soon

Brunson is among the players who are highly anticipating the $15 million guaranteed WPT World Championship. He was in a thrilling promotional video this week during which Matt Savage, WPT Executive Tour Director, called him on FaceTime while riding a motorized scooter on the Las Vegas Strip.

Savage informed Brunson about the forthcoming event. The Poker Hall of Famer started his journey to Vegas immediately. The WPT uploaded a video clip on its Twitter channel showing Brunson's excitement after the call.

He will compete for his second WPT title despite signing up with the Champions Club almost two decades ago after winning $1.2 million in the 2004 WPT Legends of Poker $5,000 Championship. This has been his largest live poker tournament cash so far.

The WPT Will Be Online

The WPT Global's launch will allow players from any country to qualify for various WPT tournaments to play interesting games like Poker Flips and win different prizes. Players in more than 50 territories and countries can access WPT Global.

It provides a huge deposit match bonus of 100 percent on up to $1,200. But, new players need to deposit at least $20 to get the match bonus that the WPT unlocks in $5 increments.
