Evolution Gaming Extends Live Dealer Gaming to Pennsylvania

Online casino gaming in Pennsylvania has only been live for a few months with the industry continuing to grow at a steady pace. Players have access to online casino games via mobile devices as well as laptop and computer. Slots and table games are on offer with a nice selection of titles from several operators. The game selection will be growing soon, as live casino supplier Evolution Gaming has announced a new partnership with Parx Casino, to set up live dealer casino games for the brand.

New Live Content

Evolution Gaming already offers a large selection of live dealer games in New Jersey, so it was only natural they would opt to offer games in the newest state to legalize online casino games. Parx Casino is owned by Greenwood Racing Inc., and is one of the largest land-based venues in the state. They were one of the first to offer online casino gaming and look forward to growing within the segment.

With the new deal, Evolution and Parx Casino will work together to offer live dealer games like roulette, blackjack and poker. Parx online will integrate the content portfolio of Evolution which includes the classic casino games along with exclusive titles.

A Live Casino studio operated by Evolution located in New Jersey will stream the gaming footage to players in Pennsylvania. A studio will eventually be constructed in Pennsylvania for their games. Matthew Cullen, the Parx Casino Senior Vice President of iGaming & Sports, stated that the brand was the first to offer RNG blackjack games online in Pennsylvania so extending their online offering was the natural next step.

Quality Content

With the new deal, players in Pennsylvania will have access to quality gaming content. Mr. Cullen stated that the player base of the Parx Casino online that already enjoy blackjack will be attracted to the Live Blackjack games from Evolution. The content portfolio includes the title Infinite Blackjack which offers unlimited seating.

Evolution is excited to be working with Parx, with Chief Commercial Officer of the company, Sebastian Johannisson, commenting that the table games are subject to a lower tax so the Live Casino is an attractive proposition for them as well as Parx and the players. The games will offer a significant contribution to operator revenues in the state.

Parx is not the first casino that Evolution Gaming has worked with in Pennsylvania. Last year, the brand signed a deal with Penn National Gaming, to offer Live Casino titles via the operator’s online gaming site. Evolution was able to offer services in Pennsylvania after obtaining a license via the state’s Gaming Control Board.

With the licensing, Evolution can open a Live Casino studio in the state. They are currently working on the facility, which will feature several table games. Evolution will first install Blackjack with side bets, American Roulette, Infinite Blackjack, Baccarat, Ultimate Texas Hold’em Poker and Auto Roulette.

More games will be added in the future as the facility is up and running. Live dealer games will be a big hit among Parx players as the title give a more realistic feel to gameplay. The games take place in real time which provides more excitement than a traditional online table game.

As the operations get underway, we should have a good idea as to how the live dealer offering of Evolution affects the revenue stream of Parx as well as Penn National. The online gaming industry of the state is only going to continue to grow as 2020 gets underway.
