Some poker fans thought that many talented players would be idle after the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) ended recently. But, GGPoker proved them wrong when it released WSOP Online's schedule.
The series will comprise 33 online bracelet tournaments. GGPoker will host it between August 20 and October 2, 2023. The online poker operator stated in its press release that WSOP Online proves its commitment in offering poker players from all over the world unique poker experiences.
It promised to fill their journey with unmatched skill, competitive events, and the honor of lifting the WSOP Online title. Event No.28: $5,000 WSOP Online Main Event will culminate the bracelet series with a $25 million guaranteed prize pool. the following are some of the most anticipated tournaments making up the online bracelet series;
- Event No.2: $300 Gladiators of Poker Opener on the final day. It will have $300 buy-ins and a $2.5 million guarantee, taking place on August 21
- Event No.7: $210 Mystery Millions $1 million Top Bounty on Day 2. It will have $210 buy-ins and a $10 million guarantee, taking place on August 28
- Event No.12: $500 Mini Main Event NLH. It will have $500 buy-ins and a $2.5 million guarantee, taking place on September 4
- Event No.17: $1,500 Millionaire Maker in Paradise on Final 100. It will have $1,500 buy-ins and a $5 million guarantee, taking place on September 11
- Event No. 33 GGMillions$ Super High Roller on the final day. It will have a $10,300 buy-in and a $10 million guarantee, taking place on October 2
How Can a Player Win a Bracelet?
Poker players will get their last chance to bag a bracelet in the upcoming WSOP Online series. They can play on tablets, computers, or phones,
GGPoker gave out bracelets in 33 tournaments last fall which included a $20,000,000 guaranteed Main Event. Still, WSOP New Jersey and WSOP Nevada awarded other bracelets several months ago.
The online poker operator will have $2 million Continental Freerolls in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Americas. Each WSOP Online bracelet tournament will award a freeroll that will be in cash prizes or WSOP Paradise packages of up to $100,000.
Players who compete in a WSOP Online bracelet tournament and be from the same continent as the bracelet champion will get entry to an invitational freeroll. For instance, an Americas player who wins Event No.1 will enable each Americas player to get signed up for an associated freeroll taking place after a week. Still, the bracelet champion can extend the invites to specific players.
GGPoker will create a Continental Leaderboard and award the leading Continental Champions a WSOP Paradise package worth $35,000. Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker's Global Ambassador, stated that he was elated after GGPoker extended its collaboration with WSOP.
He said that the new series will keep international and local players engaged for several weeks. Besides, it will offer them a chance to grab a WSOP gold bracelet as they hone their skills.
