Jans Arends Wins the $5,200 Titans Event Title As Vlad Darie Wins $22,080 in the $1,050 Sunday High Roller PKO

Jans “Graftekkel” Arends won the 2023 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) $10,300 Buy-In Event of the Thursday Thrill bagging $202,936. Many poker diehards expected him to go on vacation.

But, Arends signed up for the $5,200 Titans Event aiming for its top prize.

The tournament attracted 62 players who formed a $310,000 prize pool. Yet, only the nine top finalists got a share of the pool. Aliaksei “ale6ka” Boika burst the tournament’s money bubble after finishing 10th.

His exit earned each remaining finalist at least $9,664. Ole Schemion finished ninth with $9,664. Dominik “Bounatirou” Nitsche, Bruno Volkmann, and Andy Wilson followed him in eighth, seventh, and sixth place respectively.

“GodOf.com” finished fifth and “blowknockout” followed them in fourth place. FishOnHeater’s third place set up a heads-up match between Felipe Ketzer and Arends.

The duo has clashed in many events in the past. But luck was on Arends’ side as he sent Ketzer in second place with $62,670.

Vlad “dariepoker” Darie excited their fans on Sunday when they won $22,080 in the $1,050 Sunday High Roller PKO event. Such events often attract many talented players.

Darie competed for the top prize with flerrehuve, Aliaksei “Boika, POKERPR02.0, and Roman “Gogac sniper” Hrabec. Lollypop78 exited the tournament in third place kicking off a tough battle of the blinds between Tr!pleeeee and Darie.

Each of the two finalists collected $9,900 from the main pool. However, Darie eliminated Tr!pleeeee as the runner-up with $15,954.
