Las Vegas Museum to Be Opened by Aerosmith

One of the most popular rock ‘n’ roll bands from the US, Aerosmith, plans to begin the second part of their Las Vegas residency called “Aerosmith: Deuces are Wilds.” This will happen on June 19, and in order to celebrate that joyous event, the band decided to allow fans to access a museum which will be opened in Las Vegas. This is no ordinary museum — in fact, it is a rock ‘n’ roll museum that focuses on the history of Aerosmith. In other words, the band will showcase some of the items that they had managed to collect during their long and fruitful career. They have been together for almost 50 years, so the list of items they want to share with their fans is quite a lengthy one.

The museum will be located at the lower part of the Park Theater, which is a part of Park MGM, a location where Aerosmith will be performing. It will be initially accessible only to VIP ticket holders, and it will open at 12 pm on June 19. Therefore, if you are a big Aerosmith fan, make sure to obtain one of the VIP tickets and hurry up to witness the history of one of the greatest rock bands in the world.

The entire experience that the band prepared for the visitors of the museum is very unique, and it will make you feel as if you were a part of the band all along. The moment you step into the museum, you will feel like you are located on the stage with Aerosmith, in the middle of their performance. You will be able to walk the flooring of the actual Aerosmith stage that was used during their previous tours (the flooring is known as the “Marley”).

Furthermore, you will have an opportunity to walk the timeline of the band. In other words, you will be able to see some of the items related to the very beginning of the band’s career, including the drumset Steven Tyler owned in his high school years. Furthermore, you will be able to see their first press kit, as well as the original hand-written lyrics for the song “Walk This Way.” Naturally, if you are a fan of music equipment, you will be able to see more than 20 guitars that were used by the band during some of their most legendary performances.

Another interesting prop that you will be able to see is the set of legendary scarfs that Steven Tyler uses during his performances. Furthermore, the band received numerous awards, and most of them will be visible to the visitors of the museum, including one of the Grammy awards they received.

You will also be able to see five huge and dynamic portraits of all the members of the band that were painted by world-renowned artist Denny Dent. He used his trademark style, which is called “two-fisted art attack,” to paint the members of the band. Dent also painted a lot of other popular music icons of his time including Miles Davis, Bruce Springsteen, Jimi Hendrix, and more.

VIP Packages offer something extra for those who decide to buy them. They also include meeting Steven Tyler and Joe Perry and taking part in the Q&A which will take place before the show and which will include Joey Kramer, Tom Hamilton, and Brad Whitford.

In the end, make sure not to miss the upcoming Aerosmith shows, as they are sure to be memorable.
