Nick Maimone Is One of GGPokers’ Latest WSOP Winter Circuit Winners

Nick Maimone thrilled his ardent supporters when he won over $114,000 a few days ago in two GGPoker online tournaments. Still, his great form continued when he won a World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit ring and $157,755 at the $1,050 Naughty or Nice Bounty.

It was the 12-event awarding a ring on the WSOP Winter Circuit and it attracted 1,399 entrants who formed a $1,399,000 prize pool. The huge pot assured each final table qualifier of taking home over $12,763 including bounties.

Juan Vecino got busted first at the table. "1_2_3", "CZG2009", "ilyali" and "OpusAsu" followed him to the rail. The four remaining players at the table battled it out for the six-figure score and title.

Bryan Paris left the tournament in fourth position and Andreas Nasman followed him in third place. The latter's elimination set up a heads-up match between "RojerBauRICH" and Maimone. Maimone defeated RojerBauRICH to clinch the Circuit ring and top prize.

Alex Kulev Wins the $1,500 Deepstack Championship

Alex "FutureofMe" Kulev has gradually risen from mid-stakes to high-stakes poker and he has had an impressive run of late. The poker pro recently won $538,138 in the GGPoker Super MILLION$. Yet, he won $189,841 and a WSOP Circuit ring in the $1,500 Deepstack Championship NLH after beating 946 players.

The tournament had a nine-handed and star-studded final table. Anatoly Filatov, Maxim Sheingart, and Matias Arosuo got busted first. Pulkit Goyal, Alexandros Theologis, Joel Nystedt, and Joshua McCully followed them in the sixth, fifth, fourth, and third positions, respectively.

Kulev faced LondonJon in a heads-up battle for a $47,500 sit & go. They didn't strike a deal and the former won $189,841 while the latter took home $142,360.

Daniel Montagnolli Wins $116,352 and a WSOP Circuit Ring in the $400 Holiday PLOSSUS

Event No.10: $400 Holiday PLOSSUS attracted 3,459 players who created a $1,279,830 prize pool. But, only 322 players advanced to the final day.

Daniel "Vanessa23" Montagnolli was the last player at the table. Leonid Yankovski, Dimitrios Michailidis, and Bojan "22blok22CZ" Berberovic were among the first finalists to get busted.

Montagnolli faced SlimLady in a heads-up duel for the last huge bounty. Unfortunately, SlimLady lost and won $66,157 while Montagnolli received $116,352.
