Officially Opened: Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino at Fire Mountain is the first Las Vegas-type of integrated resort opened in California. It opened its doors to visitors on Wednesday, and it is owned and operated by a federally-recognized tribe of Estom Yumeka Maidu of Enterprise Rancheria. The tribe made a deal with one of the most popular casino operators in the US, Hard Rock, and opened a new facility, which is located in Yuba County.

The resort features a total of 200 hotel rooms, six restaurants, as well as a couple of spaces for meetings, and a fitness center. Naturally, there is a casino in a 150,000 square foot area that features 57 gaming tables, as well as almost 1,580 slots. In other words, if you are in California and you like playing casino games, there’s a brand new resort in the state which you can visit.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain has eight stories, and it is located approximately 25 miles away from Sacramento. Apart from the standard offer of amenities, the resort also includes a great outdoor pool, as well as a deck area. Moreover, people who want to buy souvenirs can visit The Rock Shop, which sells things branded Hard Rock, and those who are seeking their daily dose of caffeine can visit a coffee shop.

Finally, there’s a bar near the casino called The Center Bar, which offers a wide variety of beverages, including various cocktails, craft beers, spirits, and wines.

According to Jon Lucas, who is currently COO for Hard Rock International, the property is actually the 12th one that the company opened in the US. It cost approximately $440 million to build and put into motion. More than 70 percent of the staff that works in the casino are locals, meaning that the property provided jobs for many people in the area.

The grand opening could not go without a celebration, as the Seminole Tribe of Florida, which is the main tribe behind the Hard Rock International company, wanted to mark opening their 12th property in the US. The celebration will take place in the Toyota Amphitheatre, which is located near the casino and will feature a performance by one of the most popular British hard rock bands, Def Leppard, on Saturday.

Lucas issued an official statement, saying that he and his co-workers are very excited about the opening of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain. He stated that all locals, travelers, and Hard Rock brand lovers were now able to visit the property and enjoy all its amenities. Moreover, he added that developing the property had been “an amazing endeavor,” and that they couldn’t have managed to complete it if it hadn’t been for Estom Yumeka Maidu Tribe of Enterprise Rancheria.

Glenda Nelson, one of the officials of the Estom Yumeka Maidu Tribe of Enterprise Rancheria, also issued an official statement in a press release, saying that the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain has a lot of signature brand offerings and amenities available for all its visitors. She added that the project was “the first of its kind,” as it was for the first time that two tribes joined in order to develop an integrated resort.

Finally, Nelson stated that she was looking forward to continuing the collaboration with HRI in the future in order to provide guests with a great entertainment experience in their property.

Therefore, if you happen to be in California and near Yuba County, make sure to pay a visit to a newly opened hotel and casino!
