PartyPoker Crowns Three Winners As Grand Prix KO Autumn Gets in Full Swing

PartyPoker is hosting the Grand Prix KO Autumn edition, a poker series comprising 11 events. Each of them is a progressive knockout tournament. Three events ended recently, and their winners were announced, including Mini 6-Max Championship, 6-Max Championship, and The Opener.

Marijan Rankic Wins the 6-Max Championship Title

This was the series' first championship tournament. It had 948 entrants who made $215 rebuys, each of them competing for part of its $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Six finalists won over $5,000 as the prize money gradually increased after each elimination. Jesus Ucero was the first player to leave the table.

Sander Totuli, Jonathan Harling, and Joao Vieira followed him in fifth, fourth, and third places, respectively. Vieira won $11,750. Rankic battled out with Adam Hari for the last bounty that has five figures.

Rankic eventually won the 26,554 first-place total prize, while Hari took home $12,554.

Travis Darroch Wins a Title for Canada

Travis Darroch won $8,692 in The Opener. It was a $33 buy-in, $75,000 guaranteed tournament that attracted 2,436 players and had many flights. But, only two of its nine finalists failed to make a four-figure score from their $33 investments.

The two final players won more than $5,000. Marcelo De Oliveira lost the last hand to Darroch and took home $5,447. The winner received $8,692 and the title.

Fernando Tragueta Wins the Mini 6-Max Championship

The Mini 6-Max Championship had 3,351 entrants to its six-handed tables, as each of them wanted to get a share of its $75,000 pool. Still, each finalist won over $1,600 from $22 investments.

Jan Nielsen got busted first. Anatoly Zuev and Victor Martins followed him after a short while. Scorsone's elimination in third place set up a heads-up battle between Martin Mathis and Tragueta. Mathis won the 2019 PartyPoker LIVE MILLIONS Main Event in South America.

He was most poker fans' favorite. But, Tragueta beat him and banked $7,139.
