Philippe D’Auteuil and Michael Iokovlev Win Over $100,000 at GGPoker

Philippe D'Auteuil had a memorable Sunday after winning the $525 Bounty Hunters HR Main Event at GGPoker. He took home $105,000 as Michael "Minthon" Iakovlev also won a six-figure payout at the $1,050 GGMasters High Rollers tournament.

The $525 Bounty Hunters HR Main Event attracted 2,386 players who formed a $1,193,000 prize pool. This assured the nine finalists of taking home at least five-figure prizes each.

"dutra n8" was the first finalist to get busted at the table and won $13,617. "SoloMid" and "rainbowdaytona" followed him in eighth and seventh place respectively, taking home $10,733 and $17,854.

privetiki finished sixth with $19,886, while Eisuke Katsuren was fifth and won $27,699. Thomas Muehloecker had a deep run but finished in fourth place with $32,730.

"fearthereaper" left the table in third place with $55,532. His elimination set up heads-up action between D'Autueil and "krifaloupas", each eyeing the first-place prize and title. Even so, D'Auteuil sent krifaloupas home as a runner-up with $58,892.

Iokovlev Wins GGMasters High Roller

Last weekend's $1,050 GGMasters High Rollers attracted 889 entrants who formed a $889,000 prize pool. Yet, Micahel "Minthon" Iakovlev won the largest share, $124,776, after being the last player standing at the table. Also, each finalist won at least $13,684.

Mateusz Szymanski finished ninth, and sutem followed him in eighth place with $18,039. Aram "Pusha T" Zobian was busted in seventh place, and Empirical700 finished sixth.

Audrius "Audrii" Stakelis left the table in fifth place, and GIAKYRA80 followed him in the fourth position. dash4fun finished third, and a heads-up match between Karolis "Internecik" Sereika and Iakovlev was set as their payouts had a $30,000 difference. They failed to agree, and Iakovlev won $124,776 while Sereika took home $94,655.

Aleks "JustaMortal" Dimitrov, a talented Estonian player, had a big score at GGPoker this weekend. He won $71,371 in the $1,050 Sunday High Rollers Main Event, including bounties. Christian Rudolph also won $56,182 in the $5,250 Bounty Hunters Super High Roller.
