Bovada Offers Road to WSOPThe 45th annual WSOP in Las Vegas is only six weeks away and Bovada has unveiled a “Road to Vegas 2014” promotion designed to send online players there.

The promo kicked off yesterday, April 14, with the first of four different roads that all lead to the live felt at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. From April 14 – May 11, players need only opt in to be eligible to win a grand prize drawing worth $12,000 that pays the $10,000 entry fee for the WSOP Main Event and $2,000 in travel expenses.

That’s not the only prize up for grabs in the “Vegas Prize Draws,” as each day during the promo one player will be the lucky winner of $500 in cash while another 10 will each be awarded $100. Every 25 poker points earned on the Bovada tables is good for one free draw to win $500 while each ten poker points accrued is given a ticket to the $100 prize. All told, $42,000 will be given away in drawings held daily for four weeks.

The next road leading to the WSOP is strictly for seats to the Main Event and will run from May 5 – June 8. Bovada will be hosting a number of qualifiers and satellites that will reward a dozen $12,000 Main Event packages that cover the buy-in and travel fees for the world’s most prestigious live poker tournament that begins on July 5 and guarantees $10 million to the champion.

From May 12 – June 8, players who like the Bovada Facebook page and participate in a Bovada Poker Social Media Contest will by vying to win one of four Vegas prize packages worth $3,000. That will take care of the $1,111 Little One for One Drop entry fee and includes travel expense and pocket money of $1,889.

The last road to the WSOP runs from June 9 – 22 and is for players who compete at Zone Poker, Bovada’s version of fast-fold online poker action. Up for grabs is $7,000 in cash prizes and one $3K Vegas prize package that pays for a seat in Event #62, the Little One for One Drop.

The WSOP runs from May 27 – July 14 and Bovada will be sending 18 online players there via the Road to Vegas 2014 promotion. Thirteen players will take their seats at the Main Event while five others will play in the $1,111 buy-in that donates a portion of each entry fee to charity in order to help those in other countries to have safe and sanitary drinking water.
