Golden Spade Poker Open Continues at Bovada

Some online poker events manage to come back time and time again due to popularity with players. At Bovada Poker, the Golden Spade poker Open is one such series. Currently in its eighth edition, this series is one that players come back for again and again. This time around, there is over $10 million in guaranteed prize money to compete for with plenty of time left for tournament action.

The series kicked off on October 17 and will continue through November 18. A total of 166 events are on the schedule with plenty of options for every player. Qualifiers are on the table as well, allowing players to earn a spot in an event for as low as $5.50.

Plenty of Action Remains

While there is just over a week left to play, some of the larger and more anticipated events remain on the schedule. Take for example the Main Event. It takes place on November 15 and features a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000. The buy-in to this event is $425 + $25 and players are allowed two re-entries.

There is also a Mini Main Event on the schedule, with $200,000 in guaranteed prize money up for grabs. The buy-in to this event is much lower at $100 + $9. Players can also access two re-entries with this deal.

Additional events on the schedule coming up after the Main Event include Low and High Roller events. On November 16, players can log in to compete in the Low Roller and Super High Roller Event. The Low Roller tournament has a buy-in of $25 + $2.50. This event has a guaranteed prize pool of $2,000. The Super High Roller takes place the same day and has a higher buy-in of $470 + $30 and feature a guaranteed prize pool of $150,000.

On November 17, the schedule includes a Micro Roller event with a $5 + $0.50 buy-in. This tournament guarantees $7,500. If you have a larger bankroll, take part in the Super Duper High Roller with $150,000 in prize money up for grabs. The buy-in to the event is $1,000 + $55.

On November 18, the Super Low Roller Event is on the schedule with $15,000 in total prize money. This tournament has a low buy-in of $10 + $1.

Turbo Tournaments Daily

Once the Golden Spade Poker Open comes to an end, Bovada still offers plenty of poker tournament action. On a daily basis, the site features hyper turbo and super turbo events. In these events, the blinds increase twice as fast, which allows players to complete more hands at a faster pace.

Events included on the turbo schedule are tournaments like the $3,000 Turbo SS and the $2,000 Super Knockout Turbo. Prize pools range from $1,000 to $10,000 with buy-ins starting at just $2.20 and going as high as $109.
