Ignition Poker Launches New Progressive Knockout Series

Now through June 30, Ignition Poker is hosting the site’s first ever Progressive Knockout tournament series. The bounties are large and there will be plenty of ways for players to compete with several events on the schedule. In early June, the online poker site started offering qualifiers so players could win a seat to particular events. Overall, the series will offer up more than $4.5 million in guaranteed prize money. Buy-ins start at just $7.70, making the series affordable for everyone.

What to Expect?

During the PKO series, Ignition Poker will offer up unique events as well as replace certain events with better options. Take the nightly $10,000 ($20 KO) for example. Throughout the progressive knockout series, this event will turn into a special PKO Series Edition $10K, with the $20 PKO. The buy-in will be $75 + $7.

Certain Sunday events will also be replaced. The $150,000 and $100,000 High Rollers will become progressives. The $150,000 will add ($50 Progressive KO) while the $100,000 will be a PKO Series event with ($100 Progressive KO). The Sunday events will be this new format all month long.

Ignition Poker is also hosting a Main Event and Mini Main Event. The PKO Series Main Event will have a $450 buy-in with $125 of that amount going towards the bounty. The event will start on June 27. The guaranteed prize pool for this tournament is $250,000.

For those will a little less to spend, the PKO Series Mini Main is also on the schedule, featuring a $109 buy-in. this event will have a $30 Progressive KO and feature $100,000 in total prize money. This event also takes place on June 27.

If you find yourself up super early and you want a jump start to the Main Event action on June 27, there is an Early Bird Main on the schedule. This event has a lower $75 + $7 buy-in with a $10,000 prize pool. The PKO here is $25.

Compete Today

The Progressive Knockout Series is in full swing at Ignition with a full schedule of events to explore. With over 100 total events, there is truly something for everyone. The schedule includes tune-up events, qualifiers, and serious PKO action.

With the low buy-ins, players can easily get in without spending too much on each event. Stick to the lower buy-in events to be able to compete in more tournaments or choose to pay the higher amounts but play in less tournaments. Either way, you get to take part in specialized events and have the opportunity to win extra cash with the PKO format.

The PKO format sees a portion of the buy-in removed and placed on the head of a player. When an individual is knocked out from the competition, the bounty is added to their head. Make it in the money and the bounty funds are added to your total, which can equal major prize earning potential!

Check out the schedule today to see what you can take part in during the new month-long online series.
