KO Series Returns to partypoker this February

Online poker players will find February is a great month for gaming. Top online poker room partypoker is bringing back the KO Series, this time around, offering 230 tournament events with $10 million in total guaranteed prize money. The poker series will run from February 2nd through the 16th, offering progressive knockout gaming with full value for every player.

Tournament Series Details

The 230 tournaments of the KO Series will be split six buy-in categories. This makes it easy for players to find their buy-in level and take part. The online poker room will offer a Micro, Low, Mid, High, High Roller and Super High Roller category.

Of the many events, players will find several formats in action. Tournaments will be on offer featuring mix-Max 8-6, 8-Max, 6-Max, Battle, Mix-Max 6-4 and Pot Limit Omaha PKO options. There is really something for everyone based on format and buy-in level.

For Main Events, the KO Series have eight! Players will find the buy-ins range from $2.20 to $2,100 with guarantees from $5,000 to $500,000. The Main Events will feature four with 8-max no-limit hold’em and four with Pot Limit Omaha.

Added Value with PKO

The PKO option is popular right now in the poker community due to the value of the format. When playing in a PKO tournament like those offered during the KO Series, half of the buy-in goes to the prize pool. The other half goes toward a bounty on each player in the event.

When you eliminate an opponent half the bounty is placed into your account. The remaining half will be added to your head to make your more of a target among those still in the competition. The last player remaining will earn the first place prize along with the bounty on their head. By this point, the bounty will be pretty high and provides even more value to the win.

Satellite and SPINS Options

The KO Series is currently offering satellites at party for as low as $1.10. Players also have the opportunity to win tournament dollars during satellites. The tournament dollars can then be used to buy-in to a tournament in the KO Series.

Partypoker is also offering KO Series edition SPINS, which is a jackpot sit & go type option. Pay just $5.50 to play and the winner earns a $2,100 KO Series entry as the top prize. Also up for grabs includes tickets worth $1,050, $530, $320, $109, $55 and $22.

Players just play the KO Series SPINS for the chance to win the tickets. The prize is randomized so players will never know what might be up for grabs. With such a low buy-in, players can easily afford to take part in the SPINS option.

The series kicks off in just a few days, so interested players should start now taking part in satellites and SPINS for an opportunity to win a ticket at a much lower price point.
