PokerStars Extends SCOOP Through May 31st

In today’s society, it is important to have access to entertainment. For online poker fans, poker platforms are offering a ton of gaming options, from cash games to tournaments and special events. The brand is currently running the 2020 Spring Championship of Online Poker, otherwise known as SCOOP. They just decided to run the event much longer, pushing tournaments through May 31st. Players will now be able to continue enjoying big events from the poker provider!

Keep On Keeping On

Already, PokerStars has increased event guarantees during SCOOP, which has propelled player interest. The original $85 million is now a whopping $95 million. By the time the final event is finished up on the 31st, the brand will have awarded a total of $135 million!

With the update, the original schedule will continue as planned. This includes no changes to the Main Events which are set for this Sunday. Players can still compete in No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha Main Events with three options each, on the low, medium and high end.

The SCOOP was originally supposed to end on May 19th. But, now that date has been extended to the 31st, providing many more days of poker gaming! The schedule now includes seven new events and guarantees of those events come at a minimum of $1 million!

New Tournaments

There is plenty to discover on this new portion of the schedule. One example of SCOOP 85 H which is a NLHE event with a $1,050 buy-in. This tournament will take place in 8-Max, Progressive KO format in Thursday Thrill SE. There is a $1 million guaranteed prize pool for this event.

Want to compete for even more cash? Then log online on May 24th to compete in SCOOP 96 M, an NLHE event with a $530 buy-in. This is an 8-Max as well and a 2nd Chance Main Event with $1.5 million up for grabs!

On Sunday the 31st, the online poker room will host a special Sunday Million with Event 121 M with a $109 buy-in and $2.5 million on offer. Depending on how many players compete in this event, the prize pool could swell up exponentially!
