PokerStars Introduces Michigan Players to The Cardex Challenge

Every online poker room has its regular promotions. When offering services in new areas, the operator will launch the same promotions and receive a good response. In most cases, online poker players have seen the results of such promotions and they want in on the action. In the United States, PokerStars offers service in several individual states. They just recently launched in Michigan and have been adding their regular promotions to the site. Just recently it was announced that PokerStars MI is featuring The Cardex Challenge, a familiar option from the poker brand.

Details of the Challenge

From now until April 25, players can take part in The Cardex Challenge. Each day, $5,000 in prize money is up for grabs. New and existing players can take part in the action. PokerStars is trying to build traffic at the site after first launching in January. Since launching, the site has offered major events like MICOOP, and regular options such as the weekend guaranteed tournaments.

With the Cardex Challenge, players must opt in to take part. Find the option in the Challenges area of the poker platform. You will need to locate your first card in the challenge to know what you need to receive in order to move on.

Next, play real money No Limit Hold’em cash games. If you are dealt your selected card as a hole card and win the hand, then you move on to the next step. The color and card must match, but you don’t have to focus on the card suit.

After you earn the first card, the Cardex shows you the next card you must earn. If you can complete all five cards in one day, you earn a prize. Players can win daily, so easily take part whenever you have time to play, be it on the weekend or during the week.

There are no wagering requirements on this promotion and any cash game with real money counts as long as there are three players at the table.

MISCOOP

PokerStars is also known for its Spring Championship of Online Poker. For Michigan players, the MISCOOP will take place in May. Running from May 8-25, player will have access to a ton of action. With the MICOOP, the series was so popular, that PokerStars decided to increase guarantees half-way through the series.

The MISCOOP is expected to be just as popular. Players are taking full advantage of the affordable tournament options and PokerStars expect the May series to possibly be a record-breaking series for the state.

Other poker sites are also offering services in Michigan. BetMGM has launched and just provided its first series, the BetMGM Online Series Michigan. BetMGM is the new competitor for PokerStars in the state, so we should see quite a few options from both operators in the future as they try to one up each other in the market.

Be sure to check out all the poker sites on offer in Michigan when visiting the state. There is much to explore!
