Intertops Poker is giving players the opportunity to qualify for July´s €700,000 European Poker Championships in Velden, Austria, from as little as $1.10.
Velden is known as the “Monte Carlo of the Alps” for good reason. The upmarket health resort is situated on the banks of Lake Worthersee, and attracts well-heeled visitors throughout the summer due to its reputation as a society venue and for the terrific range of watersports on offer.
Between July 20 and July 25, you could be visiting Velden, courtesy of Intertops Poker, to compete in the popular European Poker Championships – a €2,200 buy-in NL Hold´em live poker tournament with an estimated prize pool of €700,000 ($792,500).
One $4,500 package to the event – including accommodation and a contribution towards travel expenses – is guaranteed in Intertops Poker´s $110.00 buy-in European Championship Satellite Final on Sunday April 10 at 9:00pm (EDT). Before then, players have ten days to take advantage of low buy-in sub-satellites starting at just $2.20 or win their seat in the $1.10 “Last Chance” tournament.
Qualifying for the European Championship Satellite Final
Probably the most comfortable way for players to qualify for the European Championship Satellite Final on Sunday April 10 is via a two-Step qualifying schedule. Step 1 sub-satellites (buy-in $2.20) take place daily until Saturday April 9 at 4:00pm, 6:00pm, 8:00pm, 10:00pm and 12:00 midnight (all times EDT – no 10:00pm or 12:00 midnight sub-satellite on Saturday April 9).
Each of the Step 1 sub-satellites guaranteed a seat in the Step 2 sub-satellite that is hosted on Intertops each night at 10:00pm (up until Saturday April 9). The Step 2 sub-satellite can be bought into directly for $11.00 and guarantees a minimum of one seat into the European Championship Satellite Final, plus one more for each $110.00 in the prize pool.
Players leaving it until the last minute to qualify can try to win their seats via the “Last Chance” tournament at 7:30pm on Sunday April 10. This $1.10 buy-in event is a re-buy and add-on turbo, in which players start with just 500 chips and levels of just five minutes each. There is a late registration period of forty-five minutes; but, by this time, blinds will be 300/600!
Intertops Poker Also Hosting $3K Tax Day Freeroll
April 15 is “Tax Day” – the date by which residents of the United States have to file their federal income tax returns. Usually a stressful and – for some – expensive day, Intertops Poker is giving players a reason to be cheerful once those tax returns are filed with a $3,000 guaranteed freeroll tournament at 9:15pm (EDT).
Quite often these type of freeroll events are packed full of players who just appear out of nowhere. But, to ensure that entry to the freeroll is limited to regular players at Intertops, the site has password-protected the freeroll – making it only available to players who have verified their accounts with a home address, an email address and a cellphone number.
Intertops will send one part of the password to players´ homes via snail mail, a second part of the password via email, and send a text to players´ cellphones containing the third part of the password. If you are an existing player at Intertops Poker, and want to take part in this $3,000 free-to-enter event, you had better make sure your contact details are up-to-date.
