RunGood Poker Series Heads to Iowa This Week

The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is back in action and this time around, the All Stars Comeback Tour is in full force. The series just finished up in San Diego and is now in Iowa, at the Horseshoe Casino Council Bluffs. This stop runs from June 22 to 27 and features ring events plus giveaway items!

Details of the Stop

The RGPS kicked off with the $125 Seniors Ring Event, for players 50 years of age or older. There was also the Opening Night Guest Bounty Ring Event on the schedule, which offered a $135 buy-in. Players could also compete in a Main Event satellite for $85.

DeepStack fans can get in on the ring action today, with a $185 buy-in tournament. This event will offer a guaranteed prize pool of $20,000. The finals of the DeepStack event will take place on June 24. For players who enjoy Bounty tournaments, there is a Two Green Chip Bounty ring event on offer on the 24th as well. This tournament has a $200 buy-in.

The biggest event of the RunGood Poker Series stop will be the Main Event. This tournament offers a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool and a buy-in of $575. Players can start in Flight A on June 25 or Flight B or C the next day.

The finals are set for June 27 along with a $100 Turbo NLH Ring event. Players will find all the action at the Iowa casino this week into the weekend.

Pro-Am Seat Up For Grabs

During each stop of the tour, RunGood will be giving away two exclusive Pro-Am seats to the All-Stars event set to take place in Las Vegas by PokerGO. Sixty-four players along with celebrities, and media personalities will compete at the PokerGo Studios at the ARIA with the footage of the event airing for all the world to see.

The winner of one seat will be the Main Event winner of the Iowa stop. The other seat will go to the Casino Champion Points Winner. So not only can you compete in the series, but you can also have a shot at winning a spot in this exciting live event! The special tournament will take place in December.

Players can also participate in giveaway items while taking part in the series stop. You might end up being one of the lucky players to go home with a little swag!

Once the tour finishes up in Council Bluffs, it was supposed to head to Tunica, Mississippi, and host several events at the Horseshoe Tunica. Unfortunately, the stop has been canceled. Details behind the cancellation have not been provided as of yet.

RunGood did state the cancellation is beyond their control and that a statement would be provided in the future on the matter. It is unclear if the tour has plans to use another venue for a stop or if the Council Bluffs events will be the final round of the tour.
