Vierling Wins WSOP Circuit Commerce Main Event

The Commerce Casino is currently hosting the latest World Series of Poker Circuit, and there is it’s a chance for big players to test out their skills. The WSOP Circuit Main Event just wrapped up, and it was won by Jessica Vierling.

The $1,700 Main Event was extremely popular among the players as there were 1,467 players that decided to sign up to compete. Vierling took home over $328,000 with the win in this event, and she is now over the $1 million mark in career earnings.

There are 16 events taking place at the WSOP Circuit, and all of those are events that come with a ring for the winners. This was the second career WSOP Circuit ring for Vierling, and it could earn her a spot at the WSOP Tournament of Champions, also at the Commerce casino in Las Vegas.

Over $2.2 million was handed out to the top 164 players in the field, and this was one of the biggest prize pools of the season. While most of the winners at this event come from the United States, Vierling is a German pro that has found a ton of success in the United States.

Other Players at Final Table

Christian Roberts ended up finishing in second place at this event, and he was able to bring home $218,807 by finishing in that position. Cooper Feltham was unable to finish higher than third place at the Main Event, but that was still good enough for $154,959.

James Pilpa was the only other player that won at least $100,000 by competing in this event as it was a fourth place finish worth $111,325. Even though the money started to fall off in a big way, there was still a great payout available for everyone at the final table.

Everyone that finished inside of the top 164 was able to collect at least $4,000 as these WSOP Circuit Main Events continue to hand out some big money. While the Main Event is always where the top action takes place, there are other great events throughout the WSOP Circuit.

A Look at Other Winners

Since this was the 13th event of WSOP Circuit, there have already been some great winners that have picked up big wins along the way. This has been a great event for the top female poker players as Vierling is now the 4th woman to win during the event.

Christina Gollins was a notable winner at the WSOP Circuit as she cashed in with a $105,444 payday by winning the Housewarming Opening Event. Kathy Chang and Sally Stephens were the two other female winners, but their victories didn’t come with a massive payout.

Alex Massman won more than $83,00 during this event as he took home the top spot in the $1,100 No-Limit Hold’Em tournament. Sean Yu didn’t get a massive payday with his win on the WSOP Circuit, but did collect his ninth career ring.
