WPN to Host $3 Million BOSS Series next Month

Bigger Online Super Series (BOSS)The Winning Poker Network´s Bigger Online Super Series (BOSS) is making a standalone return next month, with a colossal twenty-six events over eight days guaranteeing more than $3 million in prize money – including a $1 million guaranteed Main Event on Sunday July 15th.

If you have played at Americas Cardroom or Black Chip Poker for any length of time, you will be familiar with the Winning Poker Network´s Bigger Online Super Series (BOSS) – the “bigger buy-in” leg of the Network´s massive OSS Cub3d tournament series. However, although both the Mini Online Super Series and Online Super Series have had their individual moments of glory in the past, never before has BOSS been played as a standalone series.

This will all change between Sunday July 8th and 15th when the BOSS is not only making a solo return, but featuring more events than usual. In total there will be twenty-six events over the eight days of high stakes action including a $5,100 buy-in Cage event, a $215 buy-in PLO Sunday Special, and a $1 million guaranteed BOSS Main Event. The series is guaranteed for more than $3 million, but looking at the schedule, we expect that total to be easily surpassed.

The BOSS Schedule for July 2018

The schedule as it appears on some Winning Poker Network websites is a little skinny on detail, so I have compiled the highlights below. The events will soon be live in the poker clients at Americas Cardroom, Black Chip Poker, True Poker and Ya Poker; but, before rushing to register for any of the BOSS events, I suggest you wait and see what the supporting satellite schedule looks like closer to the date. My suspicion is there will be plenty of value in feeders to the feature events.

Plenty More Action at the Winning Poker Network

The timing of the BOSS series is very clever inasmuch as it coincides with the final week of the World Series of Poker, by which time 90% of the players in the Main Event will have been knocked out and on their way home. It also conveniently fills a gap between the Winning Poker Network´s WSOP Qualifiers and the next OSS Cub3d series scheduled for August, and – during the same eight-day period – there will be two qualifiers for the Network´s Live Cage event in Costa Rica over the weekend of July 28th/29th.

If you would rather not wait until July to take part in some big money action, a quick reminder that this coming Sunday, the Winning Poker Network is hosting a WSOP Mega-Satellite with thirty $12,500 prizes guaranteed. Although the value of the prizes is enough to get most players to Las Vegas with the money to buy into the WSOP Main Event, there is no obligation to do so. As the Networks states in its marketing for the event “Take the Seat, or Take the Cash”. It is entirely up to you.
