Quran Cruse and Bruce Ramoth, ClubWPT Qualifiers, Prepare for Wynn Las Vegas WPT World Championship

The World Poker Tour (WPT) was launched almost two decades ago. Wynn Las Vegas will host the $10,400 buy-in $15 million GTD WPT World Championships as WPT celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Some ardent poker fans think the December 12 to December 18 event will feature talented players from different countries. This is precise as there will be tens or hundreds of skilled qualifiers in the field.

Wynn is providing a $1,100 buy-in satellite, and ClubWPT has consistently hosted various online qualifiers for five months. Their winners will receive a $12,000 Passport to the WPT World Championship, including a travel stipend, a hotel, and event buy-in.

Two dozen ClubWPT qualifiers have taken place so far. Drew "Ainsleyl" Rautenberg took part and had a thrilling experience. Yet, ClubWPT subscribers have one remaining opportunity to qualify for the Vegas tournament.

A $12,000 WPT World Championship Challenge will occur on October 30, 2022. Members can register, while non-members have enough time to sign up. The $12,000 Passport will offer other benefits, including:

  • $1,000 cash for traveling
  • Greet and meet with top WPT talent
  • ClubWPT branded merchandise
  • ClubWPT VIP host
  • A four-night stay at Wynn Las Vegas between December 12 and December 16
  • $10,400 WPT World Championship main event seat

Bruce Ramoth's Journey from Alaska to Las Vegas

Bruce "wlkwolfl3" Ramoth won the main event seat through ClubWPT on May 28, 2022. He operates a small business with Nora, his caring wife, and was the second player to get the coveted seat.

Ramoth stated in an interview that he has seven children and 19 grandchildren. He has played poker for over 40 years and began competing in Texas Hold'em almost two years ago. Still, the WPT tournament satellite is the largest victory in his poker career so far.

The poker pro's victory helped him win his maiden live poker event. Generally, many players stake $60 in their first tournaments, but Ramoth will play in the upcoming WPT World Championship.

Ramoth is optimistic that he will meet with Mike "The Mouth" Matusow and other poker pros. He admitted that Matusow is among the best players in history, and he is glad to compete with him in the live WPT tournament.

Quran Cruse's Transition for Busto to Competing for $15 Million

Quran "willqdoit" Cruse won a main event seat on May 29, 2022. The victory came when the 39-year-old players had lost a lot of money in cryptocurrency. Moreover, it was his recent huge loss as he previously got lucked for someone else's crime.

Cruse explained that he was traveling to Virginia to visit his family but got arrested for possessing narcotics. But, the poker pro won the case as it lacked enough evidence. Surprisingly, he learned to play poker while in police custody and registered for ClubWPT in May.

Yet, Cruse won a $10,400 seat for the WPT World Championship after a month. He revealed that he likes playing poker and lacked the money to visit casinos. Besides, this will be his first huge tournament.

He has won a few small-stakes events in the past. Also, Cruse is eager to interact with other top players at the table. He is Garrett Adelstein's ardent fan and has a 15-year-old relationship.
