Resorts World Las Vegas has operated since June 24,2021 and its construction cost $4.3 billion. Reports indicate that the gaming property has thrived in the last two years. It recently disclosed that it signed up the one-millionth members of its rewards program.

Genting runs the Resorts World (RW) gaming brand. It has many casinos in the Bahamas, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines. Still, the company operates one Resorts World casino in Nevada and three RW casinos in New York.
It made a wise business decision when it chose Las Vegas as its new casino’s location. The Vegas Strip attracts thousands of players annually hence earning Genting steady income.
Even so, the gaming operator launched Resorts World Las Vegas after the global health crisis and it is reaping from its investment. Its H1 2023 revenue report shows that Resorts World Las Vegas’ 3,506 rooms had clients in over 90 percent of the duration. Moreover, Genting generated more resort and gaming revenue between January and June this year.
Resorts World Las Vegas had a shaky start after its launch. It experienced a few restaurant changes and one of its officials got involved in a scandal that escalated in September.
The gaming property sacked Scott Sibella as its CEO and President. However, it has started thriving again in Las Vegas as more players are joining its rewards program.
Billy Chung’s Gaming Experience at the Casino
Resorts World Las Vegas runs the Genting Rewards loyalty program. Its members collect points in the gaming venue. A player receives five points for each $1 they spent on beverage and food and three points for each $1 they spend on slot.
The gaming site also awards players points when they pay for its spa services or make retail purchases. Billy Chung visited it on November 6 from El Dorado Hills and became Genting Rewards’ one millionth member.
He received a Royal Treatment Package. It comprised a complimentary dinner, a complimentary three-night stay in a high-end suite having roundtrip airfare for two, and a custom designed Genting Rewards card.
Resorts World will also award Chung four tickets for his favorite show, a spa package for four people, and a VIP table Zouk nightclub or a Ayu Day Club or an Athena complimentary cabana. It awarded the player one million points that upgraded his loyalty rank to Imperial, its highest tier. Therefore, Chung is now eligible for up to $500 annual airfare refunds, a 40 percent boost on slots points and a free valet.
Why Is Loyalty Necessary?
Many renowned casinos have rewards programs whose databases enable them to use incentives and promotions to attract new customers. Yet, clients also benefit from these programs. However, little is known on how the program affects players battling with problem gambling.
