Seattle Kraken Odds: Favored Expansion Draft Selections for Each Team

With the Tampa Bay Lightning winning this year’s Stanley Cup, the hockey world is now focusing on the offseason and everything that it brings. One of the major stops of this summer is the upcoming expansion draft, which is where the Seattle Kraken — the NHL’s 32nd team — will select players for their inaugural season.

It’s really hard to say how a team will play once the expansion draft is finished. A lot of people expected the Vegas Golden Knights to have a rough first year after assembling a Frankenstein roster, however, all of their pieces together to bring the franchise to the Stanley Cup Finals in their very first season. There’s no guarantee that the Kraken will see that sort of success off the bat. Nevertheless, never say never.

If you’ve been paying attention to any of the talk surrounding the Seattle Kraken, you’ll know that just about every hockey journalist, broadcaster and fan have been putting together mock expansion drafts over the last several weeks. With so many combinations and players to select from, people have been putting together some interesting rosters. With that being said, Bovada has put together an odds list of which players on each NHL team are most likely to be selected by the Kraken during the expansion draft on Wednesday, July 21.

Listed below are the players and odds for the 30 teams that will be participating in the Seattle Kraken expansion draft and their odds of being selected. You’ll notice that the Golden Knights aren’t listed as they’re exempt from the event after joining the league just four years ago.
