The Poker League of Nations and Nadya Magnus Have Some Awards for Players In an Upcoming Poker Cruise

The Poker League of Nations (PLON) is a renowned organization that specializes in women’s poker. It recently disclosed that it will organize a poker cruise from Miami in October. Still, all its members can win a spot.

PLON’s founder, Lena Evans and Nadya Magnus (2021 GPI Female Player of the Year) will provide $5,500 in three packages, including a cruise on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady between October 22 and 27. Also, it will comprise a free PLON Main Event entry and WPT at Sea Poker Rooms.

Reports indicate that the ship will sail from South Florida and head to Bimini Beach and Costa Maya. Players will have a chance to enjoy cocktails, relax, and bask in the sun. Poker will be a key priority for the cruise’s organizers.

Will There Be Free Poker?

PLON members will get an opportunity to win a spot on the cruise on September 9 by engaging in the online poker freeroll event. Its top three participants will get a poker and travel package worth $1,838.

Even so, the tournament’s three players will get a spot into the PLON Main Event and the cruise. Yet, they will receive a $150 bar credit and get free food on the ship.

Janie Maddox, PLON’s Co-president, stated that such poker cruises are renowned and fun as they allow players to meet with and form lasting friendships. She is eagerly waiting for the cruise to watch stars at night and enjoy clean air as she prepares for her next tournament.

Lena and Magnus’ collaboration with PLON helped in realizing the dream. Maddox disclosed that players from different countries joined PLON.

It inspired female poker players and attract more poker enthusiasts to play it by organizing online and live tournaments. Evans said that their main objective is to support regional and foreign female players.

Magnus’ Generosity

The Hendon Mob shows that Magnus has almost $2 million earnings in her poker career. Besides, she is renowned for her dedication to help female poker diehards. This influenced Evans to collaborate with her in planning the upcoming cruise.

Magnus will donate money for several free spots like entry into Wynn Las Vegas’ $10,400 Buy-In WPT World Championship that it will host in December 2023. It will have a $40 million prize pool and be one of the biggest guaranteed poker events.

Evans offered a $1,800 ClubWPT Diamond Membership donation and additional items in the pool. Still, Magnus gave one female player a $10,000 Main Event seat in the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) through an event. She gave another woman a 2024 WSOP Main Event seat after narrowly missing the 2023 WSOP money bracket.

PLON and Evans offered several WSOP $1,000 Min Main Event seats in this year’s WSOP. They collaborated with Phil Hellmuth, Chris Moneymaker, Lara Eisenberg, Victoria Livschitz, Maria Ho and Kristen Foxen.
