William Hill US Making Moves in Iowa

The state of Iowa just recently legalized sports betting throughout the state, and more details were revealed on Tuesday as to how things will work. William Hill will be the official sportsbook operator in the state of Iowa, and they have also announced plans to partner with Eldorado Resorts.

These two major companies in the sports betting world have announced plans to open up sportsbooks at two locations in the Eastern part of the state. Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf and Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo will both feature a William Hill sportsbook.

Eldorado Resorts and William Hill sportsbooks have partnered up in other states across the country, but their partnership should grow as more and more states legalize sports betting. The Isle Casino Bettendorf is located just on the Iowa side of the Mississippi River and is part of the Quad Cities that span from Iowa and Illinois.

The Isle Casino Bettendorf plans to feature a dozen 55-inch odds boards that should be easily viewable from anywhere on the sportsbook floor. This location will also have up to eight 65-inch TV monitors as well as comfortable seating for patrons to watch the games.

Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo is located in Waterloo, Iowa, which is just two hours from both Iowa City and Des Moines. Iowa City and Des Moines are two of the biggest cities in the state of Iowa, and sports betting fans could easily make the trip to visit this new sportsbook.

This location will feature both standard and high top tables for patrons to sit at and enjoy the action on their big screens. The Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo will have eight 65-inch odds boards as well as up to 15 55-inch TV monitors.

Other Attractions

The Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo doesn’t have many other attractions to draw in customers, but the new William Hill sportsbooks should bring in plenty of people. There are two restaurants on-site at this establishment, and they include The Buffet and Otis & Henry’s. This is a large hotel that has plenty of rooms for sports betting fans that have traveled a long distance.

The Isle Casino Bettendorf has plenty to do, and they feature some great entertainment as well as the new sportsbook. There are four restaurants at this establishment, and they include Farmer’s Pick Buffet, Keller’s American Grill, Keller’s Express, and The Lone Wolf.

There are a number of room options available that all include access to the pool and fitness center. The Isle Casino Bettendorf offers several travel packages that include golf as well as money to spend at the casino and sportsbook. The Isle Casino Bettendorf has announced several big-name entertainment shows already as well, including Arch Allies and Hairball.

Launching Soon

Sports betting in Iowa is expected to launch sometime in August, which is just in time for the start of the 2019 NFL regular season. Anyone wanting to place a bet on sports must be at least 21 years of age. Sports bettors at each of the two casinos listed above will have access to William Hill’s mobile app, kiosks, and InPlay wagering menu.

There are plenty of other casinos in the state of Iowa set to join the Isle Casino Bettendorf and the Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo in offering sports betting, and it is possible that William Hill will be able to reach agreements with them as well. William Hill has also announced plans to offer a rewards club in the state of Iowa that features a loyalty program and a William Hill rewards card. Membership is free, but there is an application process to go through.
