WSOP Announces 33 Online Bracelets for Grab for U.S. Players

New Jersey and Nevada poker players have 33 online bracelets to look forward to following an announcement from the World Series of Poker (WSOP). The event commences on September 10 and will run through October 17, 2023.

WSOP has hosted a similar event in the past. It featured 33 online bracelets for New Jersey and Nevada sharing the same player pool. Michigan and Pennsylvania will also host a similar event at WSOP.com, but the details are still scarce.

Ty Stewart revealed in a press release that WSOP Online had record-breaking events and something for every player. This contributed to the brand's vision of being the yearly leading online poker series. Stewart is the Senior Vice President and Executive Director of WSOP.

Previous Online Bracelet Poker Events

WSOP has hosted one other online bracelet event for U.S. players this year. This was during the WSOP 2023 live tournament between May and July. Players from New Jersey and Nevada grabbed 20 online bracelets, while Michigan and Pennsylvania players won seven bracelets.

The summer event was successful, with NJ/NV network producing over $20 million. Mi and Pa generated $1.3 million only.

WSOP also ran an online bracelet event last year. NJ/NV player pool generated $10.6 million across 33 events, while MI/PA generated slightly over $572,000 across six bracelet tournaments. All events generated $11.7 million in prize money.

The U.S. exclusive online bracelet event will overlap with the international online tournament. The global event will run on the GGPoker platform. It starts on August 20 and runs until October 2, 2023.

The event's highlight is a $25 million WSOP Online Main Event with a buy-in of $5000. Meanwhile, international players have 33 gold bracelets to grab.

According to Stewart, WSOP Online is the poker room offering players a chance to play online when they cannot drive to live events. The vice president also said the poker room was looking forward to welcoming new players to the most exclusive poker club.
