WSOP MI Acquires 22 Percent of the State’s Online Poker Market

The World Series of Poker Michigan (WSOP MI) has selected Joseph "The Kid" Cada as its ambassador in the Wolverine State. It has huge MTTs overlays and a big signup bonus that are attracting many amateur and skilled players.

WSOP MI has great potential to expand multi-state online poker. It is running amazing promotions, and players can sign up for various WSOP events at home.

What Makes WSOP MI Stand Out?

WSOP Michigan has unique gaming software that has enabled it to take over a fifth of Wolverine State's poker market. Data from GameIntel shows that there are slightly over 300 concurrent players in Michigan online poker rooms, and you can find it on the Poker Industry PRO's Data platform. WSOP has 66 of the 300 seats, which are equal to 22 percent.

BetMGM Michigan is slightly ahead of WSOP MI as it has 79 seats, while PokerStars Michigan leads with 157 and has more than 50 percent of the market's share. Yet, this is remarkable as WSOP MI was launched two weeks ago.

The data shows that WSOP MI is additive as the two incumbents have maintained their cash game traffic while WSOP has attracted new players. The market had about 250 concurrent seats before WSOP MI started operating, and it has boosted the local poker market.

The poker operator has the best Welcome Bonus in the state as it provides $50 free money comprising $25 for the first deposit and $25 as a no-deposit bonus for signing up. Also, it offers a $1,000 deposit match bonus for any players who use the FUSEBONUS50 to sign up.

WSOP MI has consistently offered players big overlays, and it has a tight MTT schedule. Last weekend's $50,000 Big Sunday Major attracted 116 rebuys and 284 players. It was a $91+$9 tournament with a $36,400 prize pool.

The WSOP made up $13,600 to cover the tournament, and it efficiently works for almost $50 per player, which is half of the tournament's buy-in. The $25,000 Sunday Special PKO, $55 buy-in event had 238 entrants and $11,900 entry fees which were half of the WSOP's target.

Cada believes that WSOP MI has received a great response so far. He told Pokerfuse that the gaming operator is running amazing promotions that players can take part in from their homes. Also, he stated that WSOP MI has the best poker software in the local market.

WSOP Is Taking Advantage of Multi-State Poker

WSOP is the first gaming operator in the country to offer interstate poker in more than three states. It plans to merge Wolverine State's player pool with its network in Delaware, New Jersey, and Nevada.

Even so, BetMGM and PokerStars will also benefit from Michigan's decision to join the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA), as it will allow them to form a two-state poker network. Today, players can take part in bigger promotions and tournaments.

Michigan's First Online Poker Circuit Series Will Start Soon

WSOP MI will organize the first online circuit series in the Wolverine State soon. It will comprise 12 events and have a $500,000 guarantee. The series will run from April 20 until May 1, and the Main Events champion will win a gold bracelet.
