WSOP Offers the Largest Welcome Bonus in Michigan As It Launches in the State

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is renowned for its interesting poker tournaments in the United States. Michigan (MI) legalized online gambling over a year ago, and its market has attracted the WSOP.

Poker enthusiasts expected the WSOP to launch in the state in 2021, but that didn't happen. Instead, the poker tournament kicked off this month with an irresistible welcome bonus. It is the third operator in Michigan and offers the first real money online poker game on March 28.

The Michigan poker industry is now at the same level as that of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as it has three online poker providers. BetMGM Poker MI and PokerStars MI ventured into the Wolverine state's poker market early last year, but the WSOP delayed launching its room.

The WSOP MI Welcome Bonus

WSOP MI is offering amazing Welcome Bonuses to attract players to its new gaming platform. Players can register, make their first deposit and claim the three-pronged Welcome Bonus. Unlike the other two poker providers, WSOP MI offers new players an opportunity to wager without spending real money.

WSOP MI Is Providing Free Money

Everybody likes free money, and WSOP MI is targeting new players who it is enticing with free bonuses, including $50 Free Play for each new signup. It has divided the bonus into two sections; players will automatically get the first $25 upon registering on WSOP MI. Then, the poker operator will credit players' accounts with $25 Free Bonus Funds once they deposit $10 and above.

WSOP MI's $50 Free Play is better than the other providers' Welcome Bonuses as it is in cash, while PokerStars MI offers players $50 MTT, Spin & Go tickets. Besides, its offers are more valuable than BetMGM Poker MI's Free Play bonus.

The 100% Deposit Match Bonus

New players that will sign up at WSOP MI's platform will get a deposit match bonus. It isn't uncommon, but the one that WSOP offers has a higher threshold than that of BetMGM Poker MI and PokerStars MI. Thus, a player can get more money from it.

The two other providers normally tap out once a player makes a first-time $600 deposit in their account. But WSOP MI matches funds up to $1,000.

Generally, poker providers that offer Deposit Match offers need to release them fast. WSOP MI releases the funds as a player continues playing poker on its site. It requires them to amass 50 betting points for it to release $5 matched funds.

The operator awards players two betting points for each $1 they win or pay as a tournament fee.

Welcome Freerolls

Once a player deposits at least $10, WSOP MI will offer them seven opportunities to play Welcome Freerolls and get $100 in every game. It runs them daily at 7 pm on Saturday, Thursday and Tuesday, at 4 pm on Sunday, Friday, Wednesday and Monday.

WSOP Signs Joe Cada

Michigan is the poker operator's fourth American state to launch a gaming platform. It recently signed Joe Cada in a new deal that will help it share player pools in New Jersey and Nevada.

Cada is a four-time bracelet winner and the 2019 WSOP Main Event champion. He will represent the company in Las Vegas and Michigan, take part in bounty events, organize live tournaments in Michigan and live poker streaming sessions.
