Moving Into The US Regulated Market

As Bet 365 prepares to launch online sports betting in New Jersey, the brand now has a physical venue. A long-term lease was signed by the company for a property that is almost 19,000 square feet in size. The physical space is yet another step that the company has completed in order to offer sports betting online in New Jersey.

The company signed a letter of intent in June of last year with Hard Rock Atlantic City regarding sports betting in the state. Regulators quickly approved the relationship and the license application process is currently being completed by Bet365.

Right now, it seems that Bet365 is preparing to launch online betting in June, according to Online Poker Report’s findings. With approval, the brand is able to offer sports betting, but in the future, they may try to branch out. Bet365 is known for online poker gaming as well, offering services internationally.

Moving Forward With Launch

In New Jersey, Bet365 will be offering online sports betting hopefully in the near future. The company has potential to offer services in other states but if the brand will be operating such services in other areas remains to be seen.

We do know that the company has plans for New York State. Bet365 currently works with Empire Resorts, the company behind the New York casino Resorts World Catskills. Bet365 has a deal signed with the company that is 20 years long and saw $50 million invested by the gaming brand for 5% of shares. Bet365 will be helping to build a branded sportsbook for the casino, with the state hopefully entering the industry this year.

What about nearby Pennsylvania? Could the brand have plans to enter the growing gaming market in the neighboring state? Pennsylvania has expanded and will continue to expand within their gambling industry over the next few months. In late 2017, a gambling package was passed that allowed for several new areas of gaming.

So far, Pennsylvania operators have been working on satellite casinos, online poker and casino gaming, sports betting, video gaming terminals and more. There is plenty of opportunity for Bet365 to get involved in the state if they so choose.

However, as many areas are still being considered or in the process of being set up, the company may be waiting to see how things develop before moving forward.

For now, Bet365 is preparing to enter the New Jersey online gambling market, set to offer quality services online in the state. It will be interesting to see just how successful they are once sports betting is fully operational via the highly experienced brand.
