Black Friday Tournament Coming via the partypoker US Network

Every year, the day after Thanksgiving in the United States is filled with shopping. People head out in the early morning hours and sometimes camp out over night to access special deals. For 2020, most stores are offering Black Friday sales early due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They do not want the throngs of people heading into the stores and spreading the virus. For online poker players, instead of shopping, choose to take part in a special $50,000 Black Friday event via the partypoker US network.

Special Black Friday Event

On Friday nights, players usually take part in a $10,000 event. On Black Friday, the online poker network will offer a boosted prize pool with $50,000 on offer. The buy-in to the event is only $109, making it very affordable for every player. Borgata Poker, BetMGM and partypoker NJ are hosting the special event.

Along with buying in directly, the network is offering players an opportunity to earn a seat for free. The online poker sites are offering four daily tournaments for players in New Jersey from now through November 26. Players can earn a ticket to the Black Friday event by taking part in these events.

Players who take part in at least eight daily tournaments will earn two free tickets to a $50,000 Black Friday Tournament. If you are a regular at the partypoker US network, taking part in the tournament events from now until the 26th, makes sense. You can earn a ticket for free and avoid paying the $109 buy-in.

Stick Around for the Fall Online Series and Players Choice Series

Once you compete in the Black Friday tournament, come back on November 29 to take part in the Fall Online Series. The tournament series will run through December 6 and offer 11 total events. These tournaments will be a mix of NLH events, 8 max, and progressive knockouts. Players can compete for $285,000 in total prize money with buy-ins ranging from $50 to $300.

As if that were not enough, the network is then running yet another series, Players Choice. This series will run from December 13-20 and will feature events based on player feedback. The network enlisted the help of players to determine what types of tournaments should be included. Players were asked about game type and structure, among other elements.

Michael Gagliano, a partypoker US and Borgata Poker sponsored pro, was seen on Twitter and Discord, asking players what they wanted from the series. The results of the polls will not make up the entire schedule, but events will be highly influenced by player feedback.

The Fall Online Series schedule has been posted at the network, with the first event set for 5 pm eastern time. The Sunday $100k event will have a $200 buy-in. This will be followed by a $10,000 NLH Turbo event with a smaller $100 buy-in.

The schedule of the Players Choice Series has yet to be revealed. We expect after the Black Friday event and as the Fall Classic begins, the details of the next series will be provided.
