Caesars Entertainment has been quite busy as of late, working to set up a strong presence in the new sports betting industry occurring in the United States. The brand will be able to raise more awareness of their gaming offerings via a new deal they recently signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. The struggling NFL team is now part of a marketing deal involving the Caesars brand, set to include the team’s home Lincoln Financial Field.
With the new partnership, Caesars will be promoting their brand via signage at the Eagles home base. Legends of the football team will be appearing at the Harrah’s Philadelphia, the casino located in the region operated by Caesars. The partnership will be part of an existing marketing deal that Caesars has with the National Football League.
Casino guests will soon be able to access a new commemorative rewards card featuring the Eagles team. Caesars has big plans for the partnership, including offering co-branded apparel as well as gifts. Table games will also be outfitted at the Harrah’s casino with the Eagles brand.
Harrah’s Senior VP and General Manager Chris Albrecht commented on the new partnership by stating the Philadelphia casino brand takes pride in partnering with organizations that share their core values and the Eagles are the gold standard when it comes to customer service, their on-the-field product and community engagement.
Harrah’s looks forward to working with the team in new and innovative ways to provide the fan base with exciting experiences via the partnership.
Senior Vice President for Revenue and Strategy for the Eagles, Catherine Carlson, commented that the new partnership will allow the team to work creatively with Harrah’s, finding new ways to further engage their fans. The team looks forward to offering exclusive experiences as well as co-branded touchpoints with Harrah’s.
The Harrah’s casino will also be a presenting sponsor for the Drive Summary video board feature of the Eagles. The casino will also provide the Scratch and Win game of the team via their mobile application.
The NFL Deal
Earlier in the year, Caesars Entertainment announced a multi-year deal with the NFL. The special sponsorship gives Caesars the opportunity to provide experiences for NFL fans. The deal includes using the brand’s properties around the US as well as celebrity chefs, music artists and more.
Caesars has the ability to use NFL trademarks not only in the US as part of the deal but also in the United Kingdom. They can promote their properties via significant events involving the National Football League, like the NFL Draft or the Super Bowl.
Professional League Partnerships
As the sports betting industry continues to grow in the US, gaming brands continue to set up new deals with professional sports teams. In the past, the pro leagues were not on board with sports betting. However, now that organizations have changed their tune, teams as well as the entire leagues, are more open to teaming up with brands.
A few examples of other partnerships include Fox Bet and the Philadelphia Sixers along with the Unibet brand partnering with the Eagles as well.
