Evolution Announces New Live Casino Game Deal with The Cordish Companies

Evolution is a live casino game specialist know for its live dealer operations. The brand recently announced it has signed a new deal with the Cordish Gaming Group to provide gaming options in Pennsylvania. The Cordish Gaming Group is a subsidiary of The Cordish Companies, a developer and casino operator based in the United States.

With the new partnership, Evolution will provide Cordish with Live Casino and First Person RNG games. The titles will be added to the PlayLive! gaming site in the Keystone State.

New Content Added

PlayLive! was launched in Pennsylvania back in August 2020. The site was started via a partnership with GAN Limited, a gambling technology firm based in Europe. The online gaming site includes a ton of content, including online slots and table games.

The online gaming site of The Cordish Companies is unique as it was launched before the company had land-based venues up and running in the state. The site was allowed to start offering services before Live! Casino Pittsburgh and Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia opened.

With this new deal, Evolution will add its portfolio of Live Casino games along with gameshow content, and First Person options. Games will be streamed live from the company’s studio located in Philadelphia. The new studio is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2021.

A Proven Leader

Evolution was a good choice for The Cordish Companies as the brand is a proven leader in the live casino gaming industry. The brand already offers services in the United States and will build its presence further in the country once games launch in Pennsylvania.

Jeff Millar is the Commercial Director, North America at Evolution, commented that the company is excited about its new partnership and proud to be working with Cordish and its PlayLive! casino site. Mr. Millar called the content a great fit to help further develop the experience for players at the Live! online site.

The Cordish Gaming Group is pleased to be working with Evolution as well. Joe Billhimer, the company’s executive vice president commented that the Live! properties set a new standard when it comes to best-in-class experiences. The main objective of the company was to develop its online casino sites to develop a complementary online offering that was just as popular as the land-based sites.

Evolution is ready to operate in Pennsylvania. The company was given a supplier license in late 2019 and has partnered with other major companies. Additional partners include Penn National Gaming, Caesars Entertainment, Inc., and Parx Casino.

The Pennsylvania online gaming market is already growing at a rapid rate. It will be interesting to see if the new games bring new life to the industry and just how impactful they are. Live dealer is a popular category of games among players in Pennsylvania, as well as online gamblers in general. Adding such content is one way that operators can boost player participation and see an increase in earnings.

We will stay tuned to see how many games launch via Evolution and just how popular they are among the player base in the state.
