NetEnt Expands Online Casino Gaming in Pennsylvania via PlayLive!

NetEnt is a premium online gaming content supplier, known the world over for its quality gaming options. The brand works with the best operators in the business in the United States and abroad, continually adding to their portfolio and network to build a larger company. Just this week, it was announced that the supplier is now working with The Cordish Companies, providing its quality content to the brand’s new online casino PlayLive!.

The New Deal

Based in Sweden, NetEnt will now offer quality gaming to PlayLive! including slots and table games. Players of the online casino site will have access to well-known titles including Divine Fortune, a game that has been known to reward a jackpot or two! The deal also includes popular titles like Gonzo’s Quest and Starburst.

The Cordish Companies were able to launch PlayLive! even though the brand’s physical gaming locations are not in operation. The company launched the site in August and is working on land-based venues in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh property should open this year, but the other is not scheduled to open until next year.

Bryan Kraft, the Vice President Commercial for NetEnt Americas commented on the new deal, stating that they expect PlayLive! to be a major contender in the market. They are proud to be working with the new venture.

Wind Creek Launch

The deal with The Cordish Companies comes just one month after NetEnt announced a new content deal with the Wind Creek Casino of Pennsylvania. The online casino of the Wind Creek Bethlehem opened in July and became the 10th online casino site to go live in the state.

Wind Creek wanted quality content for its online portfolio, so they came to one of the best software suppliers, NetEnt. As NetEnt continues to work with big names in the industry, they only increase the company’s market share in the iGaming industry.

In September, NetEnt also announced a partnership with BetMGM in the state of West Virginia. With this deal, NetEnt will launch services for the very first time in the state. West Virginia marks the third state in the US that NetEnt will offer services in.

As more states start to legalize online casino gaming, the company is sure to branch out. They are already a well-known name globally and having operations in these three states will help the company to continue to build a solid reputation in the industry.

This year has been a big one when it comes to consideration for online gambling among lawmakers. With the onset of the coronavirus, casinos across the nation and the world shut down. It was a struggle to earn revenues in many states that rely on the casino gambling tax payments. However, for states like New Jersey and Pennsylvania, having online gaming to fall back on certainly helped to pick up the slack.

Moving forward into 2021, we will most likely see more states legalizing online casino gaming, poker and sports betting. If so, we shall certainly see NetEnt in the mix, ready to provide top-quality games to operators starting out in the industry!
