Evolution Gaming Approved for Live Studio Extension in New Jersey

In the state of New Jersey, the online gaming market is booming. It seems that month after month, the state breaks more records and continues to push the envelope when it comes to the amount of money earned from the industry. One of the most popular forms of gaming enjoyed by players online in the region in Live Dealer. Evolution Gaming is a top provider of live dealer content in the region and were recently approved by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to increase the size of their live dealer studio.

More Space, More Games?

Live dealer content is popular among online gamblers due to the real gaming aspect. The provider of the games will stream footage of a game taking place in real time. The players take part online, interacting with the dealer and making decisions in real time. Games like blackjack, roulette and baccarat are popular options among the live dealer sector.

For Evolution Gaming, the popularity of live dealer content is a perfect reason to expand the size of their live dealer studio. With more space, more games can take place in real time. On November 12th, the company was given approval to increase their Live Casino Studio to 5,386 square feet. This will give the space 3,163 more square feet in size.

This is an extensive expansion and will allow Evolution to offer 26 more online gaming tables. Among the tables will be 24 blackjack tables. The remaining two will be a Money Wheel table and a Side Bet City option. The studio has come a long way since launching in 2018 with only ten live tables.

The live dealer studio requires certain security measures which is taken care of by the Hard Rock Security Department. The studio is located in the Hard Rock which was formerly the Trump Taj Mahal. Once the addition has been made, the Division of Gaming Enforcement will need to tour the space and give it the go-ahead before the new tables can launch.

Live Dealer Popularity

Live dealer games are popular across the globe, but only began in the United States in late 2016. New Jersey was of course the first to offer such content and the Golden Nugget was the first operator to launch the option. They opened their own streaming studio with Ezugi, their software provider. Interestingly enough, Ezugi sold to Evolution late last year.

Players enjoy live dealer gaming as it offers a ‘real’ element to gameplay. The table games are played in a live setting and players must make real time decisions. The interaction component allows players to enjoy the fun of the casino from home, which provides a convenience factor.

Evolution operates in New Jersey and will certainly be offering even more thanks to the recent approval for the expanded space. The company was also recently approved in Pennsylvania to offer services. They will have multiple partners in the region, offering exclusive access to a long list of live dealer content.

It will be interesting to see how well the new games do once launched by Evolution. No time table has been presented as of yet regarding when the studio will be expanded and up and running. There is no doubt though that Evolution will be working as quickly as possible to launch the expanded space so they can continue to offer high-quality live dealer content to players in the state.
