G2E Virtual Began with Insightful Information from Panels and Keynotes

The gaming industry’s expectations regarding the duration of the old-fashioned affair in Las Vegas would come about in a virtual version. This is after a successful first session filled with learning options and news as well as interesting interaction among the officials who stopped at the G2E Virtual stage.

Throughout the first day, the event offered access to various exhibitors’ products, conferences, and great opportunities to connect with nobles of the iGaming industry freely.

The event organized by AGA (the American Gaming Association) and Reed Exhibitions, opened with a pertinent keynote by Bill Miller, who is the CEO and president of AGA. A gaming body that has been in existence for 25 years. Miller voiced his optimism for the recovery of the gaming industry. The AGA president said that more Americans are now viewing the gaming industry positively. He added that 50% of adults in America now have a positive impression of the iGaming and casino industry. Additionally, 89% (9 in 10) American adults view wagering as an acceptable practice.

Miller also stated AGA’s top 3 priorities to help harmonize and bring unity to the industry are Building Champions, Payment Modernization, and Growing the US Legal Gambling Market.

Pandemic and Public Policy

Keynote presentation on pandemic and public policy was another keynote: An important conversation with a Nevada Democrat, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto. Among the most important panels of that day were online gaming: will your state be the next one?; How will payment modernization advance responsible gambling; tribal gaming as well as the pandemic recovery. Also, expanding online casino gambling to other states and how casinos across the country are managing compulsory training during coronavirus. Global Gaming Women (GGW) organization also presented two conferences: Industry-focused networking; and the C-suite in the error of change.

Awards Delivered

The fair was also marked by several companies in the gaming industry getting awards. In the afternoon, the best products and companies in the sector were awarded by the Global Gaming Awards. In this 7th edition, Aristocrat was one of the big winners, with three awards (Slot of the Year, Land-Based Supplier of the Year, and Lando-Based Product of the year). Scientific Games won the Digital Product of the year award, besides the Product Innovation of the Year award.

The co-founder and CEO of DraftKings, Jason Robins, was announced American Executive of the Year. Evolution was another winning firm, after being announced as the Digital Industry Supplier of the Year. Another winning company was Rush Street Interactive after being named Digital Operator of the Year. MGM Resorts International also had something to celebrate after winning Customer Loyalty of the Year.

Closing the G2E Virtual Event

The G2E Virtual event closed on October 28 in the afternoon with more candid and insightful deliberations of its elaborate educational program. Various CEOs debated on the future and leadership of gaming. There was a keynote of top CEOs having conferences about tribal gaming, digital payments,

sports betting, online betting during COVID-19. Other topics included the growing role of women and their contribution to the sector of online gambling and the betting industry in general.
