PointsBet Joins Forces with Evolution Gaming to Bring iGaming to US

As the online gambling industry grows across the United States, more and more operators are getting in on the action. New states are launching services and others are contemplating legalizing such options as online casino gaming, poker and sports betting. For Australian bookmaker PointsBet, the brand continues its push to enter the fray. The company just recently announced a deal with Evolution Gaming, a Live Casino specialist, which will help PointsBet offer quality gaming to players in the nation.

Full Steam Ahead

PointsBet first began offering services in the United States in 2018 during the summer months. The brand received a license in New Jersey to offer online sports betting. It was not until early 2019 that the first bet was placed with the company.

Since that time, PointsBet has moved into Iowa and Indiana and are looking to offer both retail and online services in additional states in the future. The company has signed several deals and looks to expand further as online gambling becomes an option in the future in other areas.

By working with Evolution Gaming, PointsBet will be able to offer quality Live Casino games in the states where such products are legalized. The demand for live casino gaming content continues to increase in the US and with PointsBet’s new partner, they will be ready to offer an extensive list of new gaming options.

Ready to Work Together

Evolution Gaming is ready to work with PointsBet via their new partnership. Sebastian Johannisson, the Chief Commercial Officer for Evolution, stated that PointsBet will have access to a rich mix of world-leading online Live Casino games. Classic table games will be provided along with online poker and the new game show titles created by the developer.

PointsBet will have the ability to offer players branded tables and a nice mix of gaming content. Seth Young, the PointsBet Chief Innovation Officer, stated that they are thrilled to be working with Evolution. They will utilize the Live Casino portfolio via their sports betting options in the US, in areas where they plan to go live with a proprietary online casino gaming platform.

Evolution is an experienced provider of live casino content around the world, including in the US. The company created its first live casino studio in the US in New Jersey. They launched in Atlantic City in August 2018 and have continued to see their live content played by consumers day after day.

The company is now working on a second live casino study, this time for Pennsylvania. The project is on track to launch by the end of 2020. Evolution was approved to offer live casino games in the state last year.

They are also focusing on a third studio in Michigan. It will not be ready for launch until 2021 but will hopefully be ready by the time online casino gaming goes live in the state. Evolution is certainly staying busy and this new deal with PointsBet allows them to expand their gaming reach even further in the United States.
