Evolution Gaming Announces Live Dealer Online Services for DraftKings

Summary: DraftKings online casino in New Jersey will now have access to live dealer content thanks to a partnership with Evolution Gaming.

Live dealer gaming has proven to be a success in the state of New Jersey. The first operator to offer such services online was the Golden Nugget and the online casino operator continues to be the top player in the industry. With live dealer games, online operators offer players an opportunity to play games as they take place live. The games are dealt by real dealers in real time and the footage is streamed to the player online. New options for live dealer gaming will be in the mix soon as DraftKings has announced a new partnership with Evolution Gaming for the new offering.

Evolution Live Dealer Content

Evolution Gaming will be supplying DraftKings online casino operating in New Jersey with live dealer services. It was quite surprising when DraftKings announced they were offering online casino gaming on top of their online sports betting options in the state. The company has come a long way from their initial option of daily fantasy sports.

It seems now, DraftKings is ready to take their online casino gaming to the next level and offer live dealer, an option that players want to see at an iGaming site. James Stern, the Chief Business Officer for Evolution stated that they are looking forward to working with DraftKings on this new project.

Mr. Stern stated:

DraftKings is a young and dynamic company that has blazed a trail in recent years with its best-in-class technology and extensive knowledge of sports. DraftKings was first to market in New Jersey with online sports betting, just a couple of months after filing for its license with the New Jersey regulators. We very much look forward to working with DraftKings on this project.

What to Expect

Evolution Gaming is no stranger to the live dealer gaming industry in New Jersey. The company already works with the Golden Nugget, having set up a studio last year to offer the live games. The games have been a great success because players can be at home but take part in gaming as it happens live. The option is much more engaging than a traditional online game as players can interact with the dealer as they make their decisions.

Along with the Golden Nugget, other online casinos offer the live dealer games. The second operator to launch such games was the Borgata. They are partnered with playMGM and partycasino, both of which started providing live dealer after the Borgata began services.

Evolution then began to work with SugarHouse in the state, 888 Casino and Hard Rock Atlantic City’s online casino. The company operates all the live dealer games so it makes sense that DraftKings decided to go with the company as well.

The operator is already a strong contender in the sports betting category as they offer quality solutions in the state. The operator also remains as a provider of daily fantasy sports, so they have the customer base to support an online casino. In New Jersey, online casino games are already extremely popular so offering quality content has proven to be a smart move by the operator.

It will be interesting to see how the operator fares after a few months of online casino gaming as well as the integration of live dealer. They could give other casino operators a run for their money. For now, the brand will offer a full suite of services, except for online poker. DraftKings has yet to create an online product for that category. But who knows, they may decide to launch that option in the future.
