Bet365 Adds Online Sportsbook in New Jersey

As the NFL football season is about to begin, New Jersey sports bettors have yet another option to enjoy when it comes to placing sports bets. The well-known brand Bet365 has officially launched a new website just in time for the new football season. Yesterday, the brand announced via Twitter that they were in the pre-live phase of their launch and once completed and approved, they will be live full time.

Players located in New Jersey can open accounts via the online casino site, placing bets for real money on NFL games, NCAA football games, basketball and more. The soft launch marks the first time that Bet365 has been able to offer sports betting in the US. The company first announced they were planning to join the sports betting industry in the nation about a year ago, so the launch has been pending for some time now.

Hard Rock Casino Partner

In the summer of 2018, Bet365 announced they had partnered with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City for sports betting operations. The website launched by the brand is the second of three skins that can go live via Hard Rock and their gaming license with the gambling regulators in New Jersey.

Hard Rock launched their first online skin earlier in the year via the Gaming Innovation Group. A third skin will be launched in the near future via a partnership with the Kindred Group that includes the Unibet brand.

Unibet has already launched an online casino in the state and the sportsbook will be their second offering.

Along with their launch in New Jersey, Bet365 has also opened an office in the state. They secured a large space in Marlton, which is around 50 miles from the Atlantic City area.

With their new sports betting site in New Jersey, Bet365 is now able to begin a plan to expand across the United States, and the company is well on their way. They have also created a unique financial option for players in New Jersey via a partnership with EML Payments Limited. The plan creates a reloadable card that has the Bet365 brand and will be used in the state for gaming.

The deal is a multi-year agreement and could expand into other states as Bet365 is given access to gaming in the future. The company will have to be approved for licensing in states where sports betting and other options are legalized.

It is believed that New York will be the next possible spot for Bet365 to expand. Last year, they signed a strategic partnership with Empire Resorts to develop and operate a sportsbook in the Resorts World Catskills venue. The deal included an online site as well as a physical location.

While sports betting is already in full swing in New Jersey, Bet365 should still do well despite a late launch. They are a well-recognized brand with the know-how to bring in traffic with brand awareness.
